Ruba Ahmed

Ruba Ahmed is a storyteller, legal mind, and creative strategist. She studies Narrative Studies and Legal Studies at the University of Southern California with a minor in Directing — a combination that reflects her core belief: law is storytelling.

Whether she is performing for a jury, drafting legislation in the California State Assembly, or conducting field research on marriage and identity in London, stories are always at play. She reads policy the way a director reads a script — looking for subtext, stakes, and the human beings caught between the lines.

Her throughline is singular: making the complex digestible and the invisible visible. From co-founding an ed-tech platform reaching 40,000+ users to co-authoring AB1120 on culturally appropriate care for foster youth, she bridges worlds that rarely speak to each other — law and narrative, policy and people, rigor and heart.
